How do you send your transcript?  Now that you've applied, you need to send your transcript, send me an email to request your GHS transcript to be sent off.   

In your email, kindly include the following:

  • How does the receiver wants to receive the transcript - email of snail mail? 

  • What is the receiver's contact information (address and/or email address)?

 

Career and Technical Education - CTE 

To explore technical careers in more depth you might be interested in taking some of your high school courses at the CTE Academy.  

Dual Credit is an opportunity to early college credit for courses that you take during high school.  Read more to see if you qualify, costs and how to register.

Below is a link to the baccalaureate general curriculum requirements for students attending the public universities on SD (SDBOR Schools).  This document will give you a good idea of what courses are requirement for graduation from these schools.  Not all of the courses are offered in dual credit though.  

There are dual credit courses that are good learning that are not on this list too.

Did you know... you can get college credit for Girls State?

Volunteering is a great way to try things out and give back to our community.  It also helps build a competitive resume.  ​Contact the HelpLine Center to check out some of the volunteer opportunities in our area.

  • NAIA is the eligibility center for smaller colleges. They are often similar size to D3 colleges, but they CAN offer scholarships (unlike D3 NCAA colleges). We recommend students register for NAIA at the end of their sophomore year.

  • NCAA are colleges at the D1, D2, and D3 level. Only D1 and D2 can offer scholarships and you must be registered before the college can meet with you. We recommend students register for NCAA at the end of their sophomore year. There is a fee required. Make sure your student is taking classes accepted by NCAA and earning the grades needed for eligibility.
